i'd say its pretty easy. granted i've painted a couple of bikes before. it took me maybe an hour to tape off. This bike i just sanded and then primered. You could strip all the old paint off first though. If you mess up you can always repaint it

taped them off and used a rattle can. its held up for a couple years now
